ANNUAL INSPECTION
to update the maintenance logbook

Keeping an up-to-date maintenance logbook may seem complex, especially without technical expertise. To make your life easier, we have created an annual inspection service designed especially for condominium associations. An expert from our team visits your building once a year, checks the condition of the components, recommends actions to be taken, and provides you with a clear report to update your log.

WHY ENTRUST US WITH THE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF YOUR « CONDO »

Specialists in co-ownership: We already carry out contingency fund studies and maintenance logbooks throughout Quebec.

Prevention = savings: Every dollar invested in prevention can avoid up to $7 in future corrective measures.

Ease of use: We will contact you each year to plan the visit.

Continuity of service: By getting to know your building year after year, we can detect changes or warning signs of problems more quickly.

How often does the maintenance logbook need to be updated?

Law 16 should stipulate that the maintenance logbook must be updated at least every 5 years by an authorized professional. However, small residential buildings with 8 units or fewer and no more than 2 above-ground floors may be exempted from this requirement and update the log every 10 years.

But beware: the logbook must still be updated at least once a year, in particular to include the inspections carried out, the work carried out, and the evolution of the condition of the components.

SPECIALIZATION

IN BUILDING

Our inspections are carried out by experts in the construction industry, such as engineers and experienced journeymen, in order to offer our clients a technical and practical overview of the condition of their building. This complementary approach allows us to combine a rigorous technical analysis with a practical view of the situation, in order to propose concrete, realistic and applicable solutions. Everything is designed to facilitate decision-making by administrators and ensure the efficient maintenance of their building.
